Step into Cosmic Studio, the museum’s artmaking space on level 1 of the Hamilton Building, and be transported into a vast creative universe.
This studio draws inspiration from artists across time and space and invites visitors to experience the future of art through three hands-on activities. You'll paint, weave, and dream your way into the deepest reaches of human creativity, then return more connected to yourself and the worlds around you.
Cosmic Studio’s featured artist is Deep Space Drive-In, a Denver-based design collective that builds immersive experiences at the intersection of creativity and technology. Step into the command chair on their Cosmic Journey and use the joystick to gather museum cargo that’s been misplaced along the Milky Way!
Demonstrating Artists Saturdays from noon to 3 pm.
Included in general admission, which is free for members and everyone under 18.
