On August 1, 1876, President Grant made Colorado the “Centennial State.” Every year we celebrate with free admission to all of our museums.

At the History Colorado Center you can make adobe bricks, watch pigs perform tricks, and meet the creators of our Postcard Colorado and Self-Preservation art installations. We’ll have performances, demonstrations, and more! Make it a day and see exhibits like LEGOradoZoom In: The Centennial State in 100 Objects and Play Ball! A Celebration of America’s Game. Be sure to join us for ice cream and trivia with our new state historians at 2 p.m.!
