Explore the world of electronics by building and programing your first robot! Campers will learn how to build an Arduino-powered wheeled robot and use the C programming language to make their own autonomous vehicle.

Ages: 11-18 Tools: Arduino Car kit, C/C++ languages Prerequisites: Basic prior coding experience is helpful, but not required. Basic typing skills are helpful, but not required Length: 1 week

CAMP DESCRIPTION: Enter the world of self-driving cars! Build your own robotic car. Starting with the individual components, you will assemble your vehicle’s wheels and chassis, wire together the motors and sensors, and use an Arduino board as the controller. Campers will learn how to control their robot remotely, then build AI (Artificial Intelligence) concepts to create an autonomous vehicle using the C++ programming language. Many different levels and challenges will keep all students engaged, no matter how much experience they have.
