Ceramic Relief Workshop for Teens

Come and enjoy a fun filled summer afternoon exploring the wonderful world of ceramics!
Teens will be creating a relief tile using the basic principles of ceramic handbuilding. Teens will draw a scene and/or object of their choice onto a wet ceramic tile and then build it up and carve sections away to create their relief in this fun and quick hands-on ceramic workshop.
All tiles will be rigged to hang and will be glazed.
Special Note: Tiles will be left at the Curtis Center for the Arts to dry and be fired. Students will be emailed information regarding when they can pick up their fired pieces at the Curtis Center for the Arts.
