Bold Adventures

To go on an adventure is to embark on a new and exciting experience – to go on a Bold Adventure with Foothills Park & Recreation District is a chance for teens to seek new knowledge and leadership opportunities.

Join us this summer for an experience a bit different than your traditional summer day camp. In Bold Adventures, you will be taking to the great outdoors where you will be learning new skills such as camping, backpacking, basic wilderness survival, archery, teambuilding, and leadership! This program runs in 2-week sessions.
WEEK ONE: Requires attendance Monday – Thursday at Ridge Recreation Center. The 1st week will always be filled with Leadership and Service activities plus team building and planning for the trip ahead! Learn outdoor survival skills, how to set up camp and plan hikes and meals with help from your Trip Leaders! WEEK TWO: Will be an offsite adventure leaving Monday, spending 2 nights camping and returning on Wednesday.
