What’s the best way for girls to share their love of books with friends? An American Girl book club, of course! This month, we will discuss the newest Girl of the Year Book - Gabriela. This meeting will be Sweetheart themed (for Valentine's Day) and will have a valentine's craft, activities and a light snack. At these meetings, we introduce a handful of titles to the girls and they select a book to read. We set reading goals for the month, too! Each meeting includes an ice-breaker activity, book discussion, an age-appropriate topic about friendship, a cool craft, and light refreshments. Girls are welcome to bring their American Girl, if they’d like! Please sign up for this club by stopping by the store or contacting Kayla at kayla2ndstarbooks@gmail.com.
