Altered Books for Teens

In this class teens will learn how to alter and make books interactive with secret compartments, foldouts and with images they create. Throughout the class teens will be drawing, collaging, folding ands sculpting to make their books one-of-a-kin art pieces. The book will be an on-going piece that teens will continue to work and add onto after the class finishes.

In this class teens will learn how to alter and make books interactive with secret compartments, foldouts and with images they create. Throughout the class teens will be drawing, collaging, folding ands sculpting to make their books one-of-a-kin art pieces. The book will be an on-going piece that teens will continue to work and add onto after the class finishes.
Books will be provided, and teens are welcome to bring their own hardbound books.
All supplies will be provided, and teens are encouraged to bring anything they would like to add to their books. Examples: own artwork, images/photographs, fabric, trinkets, etc.
Mondays, March 1 through March 29
No class on March 15 due to Spring Break
