Become an all round super athlete with Modern Pentathlon!
The Cheyenne Fencing Society & Modern Pentathlon Center runs pentathlon camps for kids to experience some of the skills of a sport that requires multiple skills and keeps the kids interested.
Our camps program for Pentathlon is engaging, rigorous and fun….
• The fencing training starts with circuit training to build the strength and conditioning critical for the pentathlete.
• Pentathletes join the fencing group to do drills on technique in footwork, blade work and tactics.
• Shooting practice with a laser pistol is done at the facility each day.
• A Running programs is also scheduled throughout the week.
• We do not conduct a Swimming program but rather encourage our kids to do this themselves outside the club.
Members of the club, under the tutelage of Elaine, have won medals nationally and competed internationally in Modern Pentathlon. Elaine is passionate about this sport and works closely with Team USA - Pentathlon to encourage promising young athletes. We currently have some athletes training for the Olympics in this sport.
