Summer Camp (ages 7 - 13) - Übergrippen Indoor Climbing Crag - Denver, CO

Our summer camps are ALL INCLUSIVE! Kids will earn an Übergrippen camper merit badge at the end of the week. Kids will be provided a healthy lunch and 2 snacks each day. Our camp hours are from 9am to 4:30pm, but our parent friendly pickup and drop off extends our supervised hours 30 minutes on each side of the camp day. So drop off is as early as 8:30am and pick up is as late as 5pm. We provide all the climbing equipment required, however kids that have their own can bring it. All camps take place at Übergrippen Indoor Climbing Crag located in South Stapleton near the intersection of Montview and Central Park at 8610 E. 21st Ave, Denver, CO 80238. Our camps will spend significant time both indoors and outdoors during the day. We will take advantage of our great outdoor spaces at our facility as well as explore some of the surrounding neighborhood.

2021 SUMMER CAMPS
ÜberÖlympics
Offered June 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and July 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th (Single Day Camps)
This is a less structured day long camp. Enroll for 1 day or all 4. Kids will have fun competing each day in various events including speed climbing, bouldering, milk crate stacking, slacklining, ÜberWarrior obstacle course, and relay races.

EcoGrippen
Offered June 7-11 and August 2-6
This nature-filled camp brings all things green to Übergrippen! Your camper will explore the importance of nature in climbing, with subjects including geology, native plants & animals, principles of Leave No Trace, and the animal-world’s greatest climbers: bugs! We also will learn about organizations that ensure the protection of natural rock climbing areas, such as Access Fund and American Alpine Club. Join us for a week of nature education and rock climbing fun!

Shipwrecked
Offered: June 14-18 & July 19-23
One week of pirating adventures where kids learn cartography by creating a map to buried treasure, navigation skills using map, compass and celestial navigation, go on a geocaching scavenger hunt, and hone their skills in shelter building, knot tying, and more. And of course, kids will be taught a variety of climbing skills including top roping, belaying, bouldering, and slacklining!

7 Summits
Offered June 21-25 & August 9-13
In this camp, your adventurers will set out on a round the world adventure as they travel to the highest peaks on each of the 7 continents. Kids will learn about each summit, create unique art projects, and learn about culture from each mountains local region! While on this world traveling adventure, kids will practice a variety of climbing skills and techniques throughout our crag!

Überwarrior
Offered June 28-July 2 & July 12-16
Send your child to the crag this summer where they will learn all about what it means to be a elite Ninja Warrior! Kids will take part in a variety of explorations that explore the body and teach them about strength, flexibility, kinesiology, balance, health, and nutrition...so they have what it takes to become the next American Ninja Warrior!

Superheros
Offered July 26-30 7 August 16-20
In this super powered adventure week, your kids will gain superpowers while learning the physics behind climbing! Kids will use levers and pulleys to gain hulk like strength, harness the power of friction like Spiderman, fly through the air like Superman on slacklines and giant pendulums, and learn about Elastigirls elongation powers. In between all the villain fighting, these kids will gain skills in rock climbing including belaying, top roping, knot tying, and bouldering.
