Session 2: Singers Conservatory – Modern Musical Theater Mashup (teen summer camp)

This one-week vocal intensive provides a comprehensive musical experience for students who are interested in the art of both solo and partnered/ensemble singing for theater and performance and for those who love contemporary musical theater shows such as Waitress, Hamilton, In the Heights, Next to Normal, Kinky Boots and more! The week-long curriculum includes vocal coaching, some sight singing, attention to diction, advanced harmonies, and a focus on stage presence and presentation as it relates to vocal performance. We will approach the popular music from these groundbreaking musicals setting an ambitious precedent for our youth singers. A final concert will be presented on the evening of the last class at Saint Mary’s Anglican Church.
