School of Rock Denver Rock 101 Camp Session 2

Rock 101 is for beginners ages 7-11. Basic familiarity with your instrument is recommended. Learn to play with a band, with a performance at the end of the week!

This is the perfect opportunity for budding young rockers to learn the skills necessary to rock out in a band! We'll cover important concepts such as listening to other musicians, starting/ending songs together, playing to a steady tempo, and staying together with the rest of the band, while learning popular rock songs and performing them in front of an audience! Open to young musicians who are just getting started on their instruments and have had a few lessons to learn the basics. Rock 101 Camp Session 2 runs 9am-3pm M-F July 22nd-26th, with a concert in the evening on the final day of camp.
