Nurture your child’s interest in art through observational drawing (drawing what they see). In this after school program participants will take a three-dimensional object and learn how to turn the object into a two-dimensional drawing. Participants will also learn the fundamentals of art which will include composition, contrast, how to create highlights and shadows and how to show depth with shading in their drawings and finally how to apply color in their drawings using color pencils.
