*The event has already taken place on this date: Sun, 11/28/2021
Native American Heritage Month is a time to celebrate the rich diverse cultures, traditions, and histories of the Indigenous people and to acknowledge their important contributions to America. As tribal people, we celebrate our existence every day through our art, songs, and dance. This event we celebrate our heros students/ teachers, the Veterans, and essential workers that are so important to our survival through our songs, dance, and art.

Denver March Powwow presents a Native American Heritage Month Celebration Powwow & Indian Market because we have not been able to host our annual March event for two years. A powwow can be best described as an American Indian Festival.  It features music, dancing, and arts and crafts.  During this celebratory powwow, we plan to honor different groups each day.  Friday will be the Students/Teachers/Parents who completed the last school year at home.  Saturday will be our Veterans. Sunday will be Essential Workers.  In the Indian Market, enjoy the works of traditional and contemporary Native American artisans. Nationally-acclaimed artists display their creations that reflect unique function and beauty. This is an opportunity to purchase many one-of-a-kind items.
