Mexican Independence Day Dance at Stanley w/ Raíces de Mi Tierra

We are thrilled that our friends from Raíces de Mi Tierra will return to Stanley on Mexican Independence Day for a FREE celebratory dance performance in our community area at 6 PM.

Raíces de Mi Tierra is a non for profit children's dance group that was founded to share dance as a celebration of life, Mexican heritage, and to reach new audiences while providing a safe haven for children who share a love for dance.
Many of the performers' parents are from Mexico and want to continue the tradition of their culture. There are at least 20 different states from Mexico represented by Raíces de Mi Tierra and there are several dances and costumes that represent each state.
