Lego Simple Machines Day Camp- Who Gives a SCRAP-Colorado Springs

Engage students in investigating and understanding the operation of simple and compound machines found in everyday life! Join us to build with Lego Dacta kits!

Each child will have time to build 4 different simple machines. After we finish the kits we will use Legos to engineer various other structures including: bridges, wearable art, and a playground for the future. Although students will not be taking any Legos with them when they leave, they will get their hands, brains, and bodies moving through individual and team construction! This class is taught by a certified K-12 art teacher. This is a drop off class. Students will participate in the class and parents will return by 12:30 to pick up their children or parents are most welcome to stay and shop at Who Gives a Scrap for the duration of the class.
