JULY First Friday Educational Tour (and mental health hangout!) - Broken Shovels Farm Sanctuary

We’re bringing back our First Fridays all summer long! These smaller, calmer, morning events are perfect for a much needed day with animals for anyone of any age, for school or daycare outings, team building events or groups of any kind.
This event is our “budget day” and entry is just $10 per person, any age, and it’s an earlier event so we can stay nice and cool.

Each event offers an optional guided tour aimed at giving lots of great information about the animals who live here, and a take home activity for kids focusing on particular species we care for at the sanctuary so they can keep what they’ve experienced here, both in their hearts and in their hands.
So come spend time with the sweetest rescued farm animals you’ll ever meet, make it your own journey or follow along with one of their longtime caretakers.
Theme: getting cozy with chickens and goats
* No food or drink for animals or humans may be brought to this event.
* Tickets are NON REFUNDABLE. If the event is cancelled due to severe weather, the event will be rescheduled or you may use your ticket at a future event.
* Each event begins at 9:30am and lasts until 10:30am, gates will open at 9:15am. We cannot accomodate late arrivals.
* Each guest must have a ticket, regardless of age.
* No companion animals are allowed at the sanctuary, in cars or on leashes, under any circumstances.
