This workshop will focus on the fundamentals necessary for taking on AP Economics in high school. Particular attention will be paid to microeconomics, although some macroeconomic principles may also be covered. This course is perfect for someone who hasn't studied economics before and wants to get a jump start on their AP course. Basic concepts like scarcity, opportunity cost, supply and demand, and equilibrium will be introduced. From there the course will move into production cost, competition, and will even examine how economic policy affects stability. Co-sponsored with Higher Ground Learning.
This is an online camp. All supplies will be given digitally during the class.
