Free Youth Fishing Derby

Get outside and learn to fish at Willow Springs Ponds! This is a free fishing derby for children ages 5 to 15. Enjoy fishing demonstrations, fun prizes, and a hot dog lunch with Commissioner Gonzalez on the grill! Bring your own rod, reel, tackle, and bait.

Current sponsors include El Paso County Parks, Fountain Valley Bass Club, Colorado Parks & Wildlife, Angler’s Covey, Red Lobster, Generation Wild, and Colorado The Bass Federation.
