Free Workshop - How Computers Talk: Introduction to Network Communications

In this interactive workshop, students will learn the basics of network communications and how computers communicate via these networks. Using Cisco Ethernet switches and their own laptops, participants will construct a private network and exchange information through the network. They will also be taught how to use a protocol analyzer to capture and inspect traffic on the network. Finally, the instructor will discuss network security and demonstrate methods of securing communications.
