Are you a Bugs Bunny or Tom & Jerry enthusiast … a classical music fan? Bring the entire family to the Aurora Symphony's music for cartoons marathon and enjoy of a wonderful selection of timeless animated classics! Throughout time, cartoon shorts have incorporated everything from light opera to German symphonies to set the stage for some of the funniest gags in cartoon history. So, kick back, pass the carrots, & let’s enjoy a few comedy classics together including Rabbit of Seville, (The Barber of Seville Overture), The Cat Concerto (Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2), Pigs in a Polka (Hungarian Dance No. 5), What’s Opera Doc? (Tannhäuser Overture), and many more!
This Concert is narrated in both English & Spanish!
Created as a first-time concert experience, the Aurora Symphony Orchestra family concerts are designed to give to our younger audiences a shorter music presentation, along with stories and fun entertainment, including instrument petting-zoo, face painting, balloon animals, exciting special guests and a lot more!
