Free Children's COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic

Working with the Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment (CDPHE), will hold a COVID-19 vaccination clinic this December providing free first and second doses for children ages 5-11, through Pfizer Peds, Pfizer, Moderna, and J&J. The CDPHE team will collect consent forms, administer vaccines, and observe patients during 15-30 minute required waiting period after vaccination.

Due to increases in coronavirus cases in children in the United States over the past few weeks, the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) encourages vaccinations for children 5-11, who became eligible in early November after the CDC authorized the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine for that age group. Children who receie a vaccination at Butterfly Pavilion will reive free entrance into the zoo for that day and once child Living Lights festival ticket with online reservations required at https://butterflies.org/event/living-lights/
