Fossils and Fun is a hands-on, creative journey into our local rich natural history, animals, and resources. Daily science activities, crafts and investigations lead campers to great discovery at our outdoor museum and beyond! Campers will journey to local fossil sites to see and touch real dinosaur bones and tracks, create and take home fossil replicas, and participate in a sand castle challenge simulating geologic processes. Field Trips may include Bear Creek Lake Park, Matthews Winters Park, Red Rocks Park, and more! This camp is the perfect opportunity for future paleontologists, outdoor enthusiasts, and dinosaur lovers to do science in a whole new way. This camp is recommended for children that have finished kindergarten through those going into fifth grade, or 6 to 10 years of age.
