Learn how to throw on a pottery wheel in a fun, supportive studio. In Wheel Throwing 1, young potters practice the foundations—centering, opening, and pulling walls—as they work to build forms like bowls and cups. Students will experiment with trimming, handles, and altering the form as they progress throughout the semester. Each class blends short demos with plenty of guided practice and 1:1 coaching, so beginners build confidence and good habits right away.
All pieces are fired and finished with dinnerware-safe glazes—great for everyday use and dishwasher/microwave friendly. Works head home throughout the session; final glazed pieces are fired after our last class and ready for pickup about two weeks later (holiday schedule dependent).
