Energy Day is a free family festival event that consists of numerous interactive demonstrations that familiarize young students about the different types of energy and get them excited to see how a pathway in STEM could be their future career. Emphasis is also placed on the importance of energy in our world, conservation and efficiency in our daily lives, in schools, and in the home. Exhibits featured at the event range from hands-on demonstrations where students and families can see how each energy process works, to small and even large scale installations that all can observe.
It is the Consumer Energy Alliance and Consumer Energy Education Foundation’s hope that with the support of the surrounding schools and energy industry, that families and students who attend Energy Day Colorado will learn something new and develop a deep interest in STEM education. Join us on September 24th from 11 am to 3 pm at East High School, and watch your child have a lightbulb moment in front of your very eyes as they discover the opportunities that STEM has to offer.
