Earth Day Willow Conservation Project

*The event has already taken place on this date: Sat, 04/20/2019
Come celebrate Earth Day by helping to restore disturbed areas along Sellars Gulch in Downtown Castle Rock. We will be harvesting willow branches from healthy riparian (streamside) habitat upstream of Festival Park, then replanting them along Sellars Gulch as it travels through Festival Park.

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.

This activity is perfect for Scout groups working on their conservation badges! Learn how to improve and restore riparian habitat.
