Drawing from the Imagination for Kids

Students will learn to draw by working from their imaginations. This class will introduce students to basic and fundamental drawing techniques.

Students will learn to draw by working from their imaginations. This class will introduce students to basic and fundamental drawing techniques. We will be focusing on mark-making, fun approaches to drawing and getting creative with our designs all while using our imaginations as our creative guide. Materials will include charcoal, graphite, colored pencils, and oil pastels.
This is a process-oriented class that focuses on learning drawing techniques while emphasizing freedom of expression and exploration. Students will produce multiple works of art through experimentation and practice.
