We will spend that day in Monaco. We will start by visiting the Musée Oceanographique, which offers an educational and fascinating look into the marine world. After this, we will head over to the Prince's Car Collection, a showcase of some of the most exclusive and historic vehicles in the world. We will finally end that day with a stroll through the city, taking in the glamorous atmosphere of Monaco.
That day will be spent in the Massif de l'Esterel, a nature-filled adventure. In the morning, we will hike through the scenic trails and admire the stunning red rock formations and lush vegetation. After this, we will have deserved (depending on the weather) a dip in one of the many crystal-clear coves and enjoy a picnic surrounded by breathtaking views. In the afternoon, we might visit one of the historic villages, such as Agay, and explore its narrow streets, quaint cafes, and traditional architecture.
Wednesday, October the 25th
Let's go spend a day in Fayence, a peaceful and picturesque experience surrounded by nature. We will start the morning with a stroll through the charming old town and enjoy the local market filled with fresh produce, cheeses, and handmade crafts.
In the afternoon, kids will enjoy some fun time in the adventure park of the village, set in the middle of vineyards, and olive groves.
It's time to drive to Provence for a few days. make a stop during our 2 and a half hours drive in the magnificient Cassis' Calanques. We will hike along the scenic trails, taking in the stunning views of the crystal-clear waters, rugged cliffs, and lush vegetation. If the weather is good, we will take a dip in one of the turquoise coves and relax on the beach. After this delicious time, we will continue our drive to Aix-en-Provence.
This day will be dedicated to the beautiful village of Les Baux de Provence. We will start by exploring the historic village, set atop a hilltop and surrounded by dramatic landscapes. We will learn about the Château des Baux and its rich history as a fortified medieval castle. Later in the day, we will visit the Carrières de Lumières, an impressive multimedia show projected onto the walls of a former quarry, showcasing the beauty of Provence through music, art, and light.
This last day of visit will be dedicated to the 2nd largest city of France, Marseille. A day in Marseille, is a mix of history, culture, and adventure. We will start by taking a boat trip to the nearby Château d'If, a historic fortress turned prison, and learn about its role in the history of Marseille and as the setting for Alexandre Dumas "The Count of Monte Cristo". We will continue by visiting the historic district of Le Panier, known for its narrow streets and colorful houses and walk to the bustling harbor. Last night means party night ! Let’s have some fun with some Champomy (kids’ champagne) and some delicious french food !
End of this amazing adventure, we will either meet you in Nice or take your child back to Denver depending on what you decided upon registration. We hope they had an amazing time !
