Children’s Fused Glass Day Camp- Who Gives a SCRAP-Colorado Springs

After students learn about the different types of glass they will use scoring tools, breakers, and of course safety goggles to build their own jewelry.

Each student will make at least four pendants that will be furnished with a sterling silver finding. Student’s glass pieces will be fired in a kiln at 1500 degree so the finished product will have to be picked up within a few days after the class has ended. This class is taught by a certified K-12 art teacher and is a drop off class. Students will participate in the class and parents will return by 12:30 to pick up their children or parents are most welcome to stay and shop at Who Gives a Scrap for the duration of the class.
Class size is limited to 10 children.
Elementary ages 6 – 11.
