Art in the Park presents Photographing without a Camera

A photograph is a picture made using a camera, in which an image is focused onto a light sensitive material and then made visible and permanent with the use of chemicals. For this project we are taking away the camera! Participants will collect plants found at Silo Park along with found objects that they find or bring from home to use for their photography subjects. We will be creating unique photographs known as Cyanotypes. Using light sensitive paper and natural sunlight, participants will create their own lasting image!
Session 1: 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. - FULL

Ages 6 to 12 years old

Each Art in the Park program introduces participants to a different art medium and technique that will be used in designing and constructing a unique and original work of art.
Join us for one day or several to create art!
