6th Annual Denver American Indian Festival | Kids Out and About Denver

6th Annual Denver American Indian Festival

The Denver American Indian Festival will celebrate its 6th year on Saturday, September 28 and Sunday, September 29, 2019. This is a FREE, family friendly, fun festival open to all people.

The purpose of the Festival is to let all people share in and have a chance to learn about and appreciate the Native American culture through song, dance, arts, crafts, food and fun.  Entrance is FREE, entertainment is FREE and we have shaded seating on both sides of the dance circle.

The Kids Zone is also FREE and lets kids make Native American crafts to take home, and we have a FREE Cultural Corner where older kids and adults can make more complex crafts and learn about Native culture.  Also FREE is a Raptor Show where select birds and reptiles can be seen up close.

Over two dozen vendors will have all types of beautiful Native arts and crafts, varying from inexpensive to fine art. Shopping is FREE, buying is up to you. We have other informational booths and activities.

Hungry? For a reasonable price you can get the best Indian Fry Bread and Indian Tacos, made by Navajos with authentic ingredients.

Come be part of what is being called one of the best events in the Denver area. You and your family will have fun without breaking the budget.

We hope to see you in September and we  always need volunteers and sponsors for this event. It is great fun and we help so many. Here is a positive way to give back to the community. Send questions to Fest15Chief@comcast.net.
