Annual July 4th Fishing Derby

The Westminster Fire Department would like to invite families out to City Park Lake, 5875 W. 104th Ave., from 8-11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 4 to participate in their annual fishing derby.

This free family event is a great way to kick-off your Independence Day celebration, so grab the fishing poles, bait, lawn chairs and sunscreen and c’mon out!
Kids 15 & under compete for prizes for biggest fish and first fish caught. There are goodies for all the kids, plus rides on the vintage fire truck. After the derby, join Westminster Fire to a free BBQ lunch cooked up by firefighters for the whole family!
