More than 300 tuba and baritone players will gather for the 43rd annual TubaChristmas concert. Bill Clark, retired professor of Music at the University of Colorado Denver, has been conductor of the TubaChristmasperformance since its inception in 1976. As the event’s pioneer, Clark has grown the event to include students from over 30 high schools, in addition to independent musicians about the region. Participants have ranged in ages from 7 to 86, and instruments include tubas, sousaphones, baritones, euphoniums, antique tubas from the Civil War era, decorated tubas, and more.
