One of the most influential rock bands of all time, Pink Floyd brought together elements of blues and traditional English melodies, and combined them with outstanding musicianship and masterful arrangements to form and unique sound that is still shaping rock music five decades after their first release. At Pink Floyd Camp, we will explore their musical catalog from their earliest days of bluesy art rock of records such as Piper at the Gates of Dawn, Mettle and Animals through the classic tracks of The Wall and Dark Side of the Moon, and everything in between! This is a performance-based camp which will feature placement in a band setting, daily rehearsals and group instruction, and a fun end-of-camp concert open to the public. Open to players of all abilities, but basic competency on each instrument is recommended. Camp runs 9am-3pm, M-F July 10th-14th, with a concert in the evening on the final day of camp. Ages 10-18. Ability Level: Intermediate-Advanced
