Meet our Head Coach:

Zarina Izrailbekova :: Camp Director :: Head Coach :: Rhythmic Gymnastics

Zarina, originally from Tashkent, Uzbekistan, has 20 years of combined experience as an athlete and as a coach.  Zarina is a very talented and ambitious gymnastics and fitness coach, and she holds a title of The Honorary Coach of Uzbekistan, issued by the president of her native country; the only one such high level Rhythmic Gymnastics coach in the state of Colorado.  Before joining Mile-High Stars Athletics she worked as a coach at The School of Olympic Reserves in Tashkent, for the Gymnastics Federation of Uzbekistan.  Zarina worked with 2 Olympic teams: juniors and seniors.  She took the junior team to the 1st place in the 13th Junior Asian Championships in 2013, which secured their spot in the Junior Olympics in Nanjing, China in 2014.  In 2015 Zarina worked with the senior group, which came into the top 10 in the world during the World Championships in Stuttgart (for the first time in history of Uzbekistan), which qualified the team for Rio Olympics 2016.  Most importantly, she is not just an amazing coach, but is also a great person with strong personal values and character.  We are very happy to have Zarina on our team.
