What's better than an all-day-book-party?
Nothing.
We'll have sangria and food specials, hourly book-prizes, special guests, enthusiastic book-sellers ready to recommend you the perfect book (we always have this but there will be even more enthusiasm on this day!), sugar cookies for your kids, food-samples, gardening on our patio, interactive customer-to-customer book-recommendation fun, locally-focused Tennyson appreciation, and more!

"Independent Bookstore Day is a one-day national party that takes place at indie bookstores across the country on the last Saturday in April. Every store is unique and independent, and every party is different. But in addition to authors, kids events, art tables, readings, contests, and other fun stuff, there are exclusive books and literary items that you can only get on that day. Not before. Not after. Not online."
