Frederick in Flight - Hot Air Balloon Festival

Join the Town of Frederick as we celebrate the many forms of flight in June with a hot air balloon lift, glow party, and tons of fun for the whole family! The balloons lift at daybreak, weather permitting. Balloons lift off between 5:30 am - 6 a.m. under ideal weather conditions. Make-up flights will only be available during the event as available.

The Glow Party will take place on Saturday evening from 5-9pm at Centennial Park and will feature live music, food vendors, beer garden, kids activities and hot air balloons candle sticking and glowing (weather permitting).
This event requires a lot of work to get it off the ground - consider volunteering to help make it run more smoothly!
Friday
5 a.m. - Breakfast vendors
5 a.m. - Pilots, Volunteers, and sponsored riders arrive at Centennial Park
5:30 a.m. - Pilot and Rider briefing
5:55 a.m. - Skydivers and National Anthem
6 a.m. - Balloon lift at daybreak at Centennial Park.
Saturday
5 a.m. - Breakfast vendors
5 a.m. - Pilots, Volunteers, and sponsored riders arrive at Centennial Park
5:30 a.m. - Pilot and Rider briefing
5:55 a.m. - Skydivers and National Anthem
6 a.m. - Balloon lift at daybreak at Centennial Park. Balloons lift off between 5:30 am - 6 a.m. under ideal weather conditions.
7 a.m. - RE/MAX Momentum FREE tethered balloon rides
7 a.m. - FREE Kids Variety Show featuring Magic, Juggling, and balloon twisting by Ann Lincoln
4 p.m. - 9 p.m. - Glow Party at Centennial Park featuring
- FREE kids activities and bounce houses
- Beer Garden featuring Wild Cider, Mountain Cowboy Brewing Company, Echo Brewing Company and more Colorado favorites!
- Food Trucks
- Live music on the big stage
