Fire and Fuel Mitigation

Participants will learn about fire ecology and management and explore careers in the field.

 They will complete a service project removing ground fuels/wood debris to aid the Refuge in ecological restoration. Recommended for ages 12 and up. Be sure to wear close-toed shoes, long pants, and bring your water bottle. The Refuge staff will provide all other supplies including gloves.
