The city of Aurora and Colorado Freedom Memorial Foundation presents the annual Colorado Remembers event on Saturday, May 26 at the Colorado Freedom Memorial.

The Colorado Freedom Memorial and the city of Aurora will host an annual commemoration of Colorado military personnel and their families who have paid the ultimate sacrifice for their country. Bring a blanket or lawn chair to enjoy this free, inspirational event. For the event flyer click here

This year's event includes a pancake breakfast from 8 to 9:30 a.m., a remembrance ceremony featuring the Sound of the Rockies A Capella Men's Chorus from 10 to 11:30 a.m., activities, food for purchase from a food truck and musical entertainment from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event is free to the public and there will be plenty of lawn seating for guests who are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs. 

No dogs allowed. No glass bottles. No unlawful devices. No illegal substances. No open carry of firearms.
