Champ Camp is an educational and fun week-long summer camp for children with asthma (ages 7-14). Children gain confidence in themselves and their ability to take control of their asthma while enjoying activities like canoeing, hiking, and rock climbing! Champ Camp changes the lives of children who suffer from asthma and offers them the tools to overcome their lifelong fear of not being able to breathe.
Volunteers, including medical staff, are on site 24 hours a day for the entire camp to ensure safety and a great experience. Since 1979, Champ Camp has impacted thousands of lives, saved many lives of children with severe asthma and taught them how to become leaders within their communities and to efficiently and effectively manage their asthma.
