The 8th Annual Garden of the Gods Rock Ledge Ranch Powwow will represent many American Indian Tribes. Activities will include dancing, drumming, singing. Enjoy Native food, arts, crafts, and exhibits. Mark your calendar and come join this fun and festivities! Also look for Cheyenne Emma Rose Wilson, the 2016 Garden of the Gods Rock Ledge Ranch Powwow Princess. When she was crowned at the 2016 Powwow, Cheyenne was 13 and in the 8th grade. She is the daughter of the late Daniel Wilson, who served in the Army, and Laura Wilson. Her family attends powwows all over Colorado and several neighboring states. She will be representing the Ranch at the Denver March Powwow. Cheyenne is half Dine, one/quarter Lakota, and one/quarter Cheyenne. In addition to dancing at Powwows, Cheyenne has been dancing since she was a toddler, and danced both fancy shawl and jingle dress. She loves sports and plays basket ball, soccer and lacrosse. Cheyenne is honored and humbled to be chosen by the Powwow Committee to represent Garden of the Gods Rock Ledge Ranch Powwow for the 2016-2017 year.
